The problem is that you are only as good as the software you buy, in other words the training and guidance attached to it.
I personally do not promote free software application, especially in this case with 3D animation, this is no simple task, well it is! If you get the proper training. On the other hand you may already have animation experience and can swiftly adapt to a new animation software without training and guidance.
